PARENTING TOOLBOX

This site, designed for nontraditional families, provides "hand tools" and "power tools" for raising good kids.  Look in power tools for articles on grief, merging families and relating to generations X and Y.  Hand tools  tackles discipline, child development and parent education.  More resources can be found in the work bench message board.

PARENTING SOLO FOR SINGLES

This basic site offers brief, supportive advice on raising a child  solo.  Articles here touch on discipline, dining out, positive language, travel, grief and holidays.  Parents needs are included, and a sense of balance is emphasized.

SINGLE MOTHERS

The primary strength of this site is it's two question and answer sections.  One is moderated by the sites creator and the other is mom to mom.  check out the reading room for articles on co-parenting, dating, divorce and day care.  Great link page too.

SINGLE FATHERS

It hasn't been updated recently, but for all the single dads out there, this is a good source of down-to-earth advice from a male perspective.  Topics range from homework to dating to teenage tempers.  Don't miss the small link on the homepage for "more articles".
